After hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner, this petition is being disposed of by passing the following order:

The petitioner shall appear before the learned Trial Court next week irrespective of whatever date has been fixed in the case by the learned Trial Court. The petitioner shall file his reply to the show-cause notice issued vide the impugned order. He shall be doing so within one week from today. Thereafter, the learned Trial Court shall proceed to dispose of the matter in accordance with law and after hearing the parties. It is expected that the matter with respect to invoking Section 31 of the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005 shall be disposed of before 31st July, 2009. Till it is disposed of, recovery proceedings against the petitioner shall stay subject to the petitioner depositing Rs. 10,000/- with the learned Trial Court within four weeks from today.
