RTI ACT MAY BE AMENDED

Union Law Minister told news reporters on Sunday the 31^st January, 2010 in New Delhi that Centre might amend the RTI Act.  “there is some proposal being contemplated.

“It is in comparison to other judiciaries in the world.  But it has nothing to do with the Delhi Higth Court judgement.  It is independent of it.”

Moily said the matter would be looked into by the Department of Personnel and Training which deals with the implementation of the Act.
