Godrej unit forms JV with US-based Tyson

Diversified company, Godrej Industries Ltd said on Monday that its unit Godrej Agrovet Ltd, through Godrej Foods, has formed a joint venture with Tyson India Holdings Ltd. Godrej Foods will hold 49 per cent in the venture, in which Tyson India, a unit of Tyson Foods Inc of the US, will hold the remaining. Godrej Agrovet has transferred its poultry business to its unit, Godrej Foods, it also added. By Ms.Bobby Aanand, Metropolitan Jury
