In a controversial interview telecasted in IndiaVision, a leading News Channel in Kerala, K.A. Rauf, co brother of former Industrial Minister and IUML leader P.K. Kunhalikutty, revealed that there were instances of influencing the Judges and Judicial Officers in Kerala, while handling the controversial Kozhikode Ice Cream Parlor Sex Racket Case. After the Justice KGB Episode on corruptive practices by family members of the Judge, the integrity of Judges is again under distrust, in view of the present scenario, since there were reports that the Sex Racket Case was not ended in a fair trial. In the interview, in the same News Channel, the Secretary of Indian Association of Lawyers Adv. Jayasankar pointed out that in Kerala High Court, when the case was posted before a Judge, the counsel for the litigant filed a petition to transfer the case from the bench of that Judge, doubting his integrity. That itself shows that, even during that stage, there were some attempt to defeat fair trial and justice to the victim of sex racket cases.
