Social Security Agreement between India and Germany

The Union Cabinet today gave its approval for signing of Social Security Agreement between India and Germany. The Social Security Agreement with Germany would provide the benefit to Indian nationals working in Germany as short term contract upto 48 months no social security contribution would need to be paid under the German law by the detached workers provided they continue to make social security payment in India.
