PM’s post should not be within ambit of Lokpal: V. Narayansamy

Minister of State in Prime Minister’s Office V. Narayansamy said that the post of Prime Minister should not be brought within the ambit of the Lokpal.

Expressing his personal view, in an exclusive interview to Doordarshan News’ Ek  Mulaqat, he said  that this would affect the working and stability of the Government. If someone files a false complaint against the Prime Minister, then there will be a negative publicity and the dignity of the post of PM will be affected.

Taking strong objection to Baba Ramdev’s call for getting 20 youths from each district for raising an army, V. Narayansamy termed this as anti-national. In Ek Mulaqat with Manoj Tibrewal Aakash, V. Narayansamy said that he has spoken to Home Minister on this issue, asking him to conduct an enquiry into the statement of Baba Ramdev and calling for necessary action.

Asked about Baba Ramdev sitting on a fast, he said that the Government had already replied to all the demands of Baba Ramdev.
