Appointment of the Chief Justice of the Karnataka High Court

In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of article 217 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint Shri JusticeVikramajit Sen, Judge of the Karnataka High Court, to be the Chief Justice of the Karnataka High Court with effect from the date he assumes charge of his office.

 

4 Additional Judges Appointed to the Madras High Court

In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of article 224 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint (1) Shri Kandasami Ravichandra Baabu, (2) Shri P. Devadass, (3) Shri R. Karuppiah and (4) Smt. S. Vimala, to be Additional Judges of the Madras High Court, in that order of seniority, for a period of two years with effect from the date they assume charge of their respective office.

 

Appointment of the Chief Justice of the Gauhati High Court

In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of article 217 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint Shri Justice Adarsh Kumar Goel, Judge of the Gauhati High Court, to be the Chief Justice of the Gauhati High Court with effect from the date assumes charge of his office.
