The Union Ministry of Women and Child Development proposes to give additional powers to National Commission for Women (NCW) by bringing in amendments to the National Commission for Women Act 1990. The proposed changes have been uploaded on the website of the Ministry(wcd.nic.in) inviting comments/suggestions from Civil Society Organisations, other interested groups and individuals latest by 15.07.2014.
