Supreme court notifies new reconstitution of vacation bench from June 14

The Supreme Court has notified the reconstitution of the vacation bench that will sit during the third part of the vacation. The new notification is in continuation of the notification dated on 9 May and in partial modification dated on 24 May. As per new notification the constitution of bench will have compositions of :

• June 14 to June 16- Justice Ajay Rastogi with Justice Surya Kant
• June 17 to June 22- Justice Deepak Gupta with Justice Surya Kant
• June 22 to June 30- Justice Sanjiv Khanna with Justice BR Gavai

However, the first notification of the vacation benches was issued on 9 May which listed the benches sit during the Summer Vacation. After four new Judges were appointed to the Supreme Court during summer vacation, the composition of the vacation bench saw some changes with the newly appointed judges being made part of the same by way of notification dated on 24 May.
