Chief Minister of Rajasthan Ashok Gehlot along with the State Election Commission and returning officer are summoned by the Rajasthan High Court in a petition challenging his winning in the election from Sardarpura constituency.

The petition stands on the allegation that CM falsely attracted the voters in the name of waving off their farmer loans and the return officer wrongfully cancelled her nomination from contesting election from Sardarpura constituency. The petitioner has demanded the cancellation of Gehlot’s election.

Justice Vinit Kumar Mathur has summoned the CM to appear in the court on 27th September for further proceeding in the matter.
