- The police in its FIR registered that on 26th January 2021 many protesting farmers reached from the Ghazipur border to Delhi and clashed with the Delhi police.
- It was also started in the FIR that several farmers with their tractors reached the Red Fort and entered the monument where a religious flag was also hoisted.
- It was argued by the prosecution which relied on the actor's past interviews which indicated that he had the intention to cause violence and disregard the country’s national flag.
- While the actor refused those charges and said that the violence broke out way before he reached the place and there is sufficient evidence of the same which can be confirmed through CCTV footage. Also, he asserted that he went there and pacified the crowds not to indulge in violence.

- Sections 147, 148, 149, 152, 186, 188, 307, 308, 332, 353, 395, 397, 427 of IPC.

• The actor was granted bail upon furnishing a bond of ₹ 30,000 with 2 local sureties and under certain conditions like depositing his passport, mentioning his phone number which shall be used by him and should always be kept on switch on mode also the current location on his phone should be on at all times.
• He must confirm his location on the 1st and 15th date of every month with the Investigating Officer (IO) always. Also, he should cooperate with the IO and must appear on all the dates for hearing before the trial court.
