In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (2) of Article 124 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint (i) Shri Justice Asok Kumar Ganguly, Chief Justice, Madras High Court,(ii) Shri Justice Rajendra Mal Lodha, Chief Justice, Patna High Court, and (iii) Shri Justice Handyala Lakshminarayanaswamy Dattu, Chief Justice, Kerala High Court, to be Judges of the Supreme Court of India, in that order of seniority, with effect from the dates they assume charge of their respective offices.
