- According to the petitioner, the MD of Flipkart assured him that a FIR would be filed against the seller and had obtained permission from him, but when no FIR was filed, the petitioner approached the police.
- According to the petitioner, the police did not take any action on the complaint, prompting the petitioner to file a petition with the High Court.
- Following the hearing of the submissions, the Bench of Justice Ziyad Rahman AA directed the concerned police chief to issue instructions to police officers to resolve the petitioner's complaint as soon as possible.
- Taking into account all relevant inputs, the Court concluded that the petition can be dismissed by directing the Police Chief to investigate the petitioner's complaint and issue proper direction to the officers involved to redress his grievance as soon as possible.
