Suryanarayana'S Bail Plea Rejected

SURYANARAYANA'S BAIL PLEA REJECTED 31 Dec 2008, 0407 hrs IST, TNN VIJAYAWADA: Lord Ayyappa hasn't yet shown His ‘karuna' on ‘big fish' V Suryanarayana, who was keen to go to Sabarimala as part of fulfilling his Ayyappa deeksha, as the ACB special court in Vijayawada once again turned down the tainted fisheries department executive engineer's bail plea on Tuesday, citing that there was no urgency to consider his request. The court rejected the bail petition moved by Suryanarayana's advocate Swamy though he argued that his client was not in good health and there was an urgent need for granting the bail. However, the public prosecutor strongly objected to the release of the fisheries engineer in view of the seriousness of the case. It is for the second time that the special court has rejected the bail petition ever since Suryanarayana was arrested on December 12. According to sources, Suryanarayana may move the AP High Court for granting him the bail.
