Delhi HC Dismisses Plea Seeking Toilet, Water Facilities In Metro Rail 1/22/2009 The Delhi High Court dismissed a public interest litigation which had sought directions for the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation(DMRC) to provide toilet and water facilities in the Metro rail. Dismissing the petition, the court said, ‘If you want any such facilities you should approach the DMRC directly. This des not fall into the category of any violation by them.’ The petitioner was also not present in the court. Considering the vagueness of the petition, the court dismissed it without costs. UNI
