New Delhi, Jan 30 (UNI) The Supreme Court has reserved its judgement on a petition challenging the tendering process for the Rs 6,000 crore Kerala sea port infrastructure project to convert vizhinjam into an international sea port. A bench, comprising Justice Arijit Pasayat and Justice Asok Kumar Ganguly, reserved the judgement after hearing arguments by the parties. The petitioner Zoom developers have challenged the tendering process on the ground that they have not been awarded contract despite the fact that their bid was the lowest one. The firm said there has been bungling in the tendering process and the same should, therefore, be cancelled and the project should be awarded to it. The Kerala government, however, has denied the allegations of any illegality, arbitrariness in awarding the contract for the sea port project.
