Jharkhand HC Hears Case On Misuse Of State Helicopter 2/14/2009 Jharkhand High Court directed the state government to file affidavit on why the case regarding alleged misuse of state helicopter could not be referred to the CBI for inquiry. A division bench, comprising Chief Justice Gyan Sudha Mishra and Justice D K Sinha, heard a writ petition filed by one Bindu Bhushan Dubey. The petitioner alleged that the state helicopter had been misused by the relatives and friends of the ministers for their own purposes. During the course of argument, the accountant general of Jharkhand submitted audit report as per an earlier direction of the court. The lawyer, appearing on behalf of the state of Jharkhand, pleaded that one copy of the audit report be given to the state government. The court ordered to supply a copy of the audit report. The next date of hearing was fixed on March 18. UNI
