Ketan Parekh, five others sentenced to one-year RI Mumbai, Apr 1 (UNI) Stockbroker Ketan Parekh was today sentenced to one-year rigorous imprisonment by a special court here along with five others in the 1992 stocks scam. Justice M V Kanade, pronouncing the judgement, found Parekh and seven others guilty of a conspiracy to siphon off Rs 47.70 crore from Canbank Financial Servies (CANFINA). The others given a one-year term were P R Acharya, Hiten Dalal, S K Jhaveri, Pallav Seth and M K Ashok Kumar. Two others -- Sainath and Navinchandra Parekh were awarded six months simple imprisonment.
