Judges of Calcutta High Court appointed

In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of Article 217 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint (1) Shri Syamal Kanti Chakrabarti, (2) Md. Abdul Ghani, (3) Shri Raghunath Ray, (4) Shri Mrinal Kanti Sinha and (5) Shri Prabhat Kumar Dey, to be Judges of the Calcutta High Court, in that order of seniority, with effect from the dates they assume charge of their respective offices.
