Professional Tax exemption limit in Maharashtra increased

Dear friends,

Professional tax exemption limit for salary in Maharashtra has been increased from Rs.2,500 p.m. to Rs.5,000 p.m. w.e.f. 1.7.2009. Copy of Amendment Act has been placed in Files Section.
