Haryana: Legal advice helpline inaugurated

The people in Haryana can now obtain legal advice regarding their cases on a helpline.

Justice Adarsh Kumar Gel of Punjab and Haryana High Court and Executive Chairman of Haryana State Legal Services Authority (HSLSA) inaugurated the legal services helpline (0172-2604055) yesterday.

Stating this here, the HSLSA Member Secretary said any person seeking legal advice might personally visit the office of Member Secretary, HSLSA or call helpline number for getting free legal advice for his/her case.

An official of the Authority would remain present in the centre from 0900 hrs or 0000 hrs on all working days.

He would ensure the services of an empaneled advocate of State Legal Services Authority/District Legal Services Authority on telephone for legal advice to the citizens for resolving their legal problems.

The information regarding the helpline was also available on the Authority’s website www.hslsa.nic.in, he added.
