Mounting pressure for speedy action from Supreme Court Collegium in the matter relating to alleged encroachment of land by Karnataka High Court Chief Justice P D Dinakaran at his native Kaverirajapuram village in Tiruvallur district of Tamil Nadu, eleven senior advocates have decided not to accept any brief from the judge. 







In a press release signed by senior advocates, including former Karnataka State Women Commission Chairman Pramila Nesargi, it was stated, ‘We the following designated Senior Advocates practicing in the High Court of Karnataka have decided not to accept any brief hereafter, which requires our appearance before the Chief Justice P D Dinakaran, until a final decision was taken on the allegation of misconduct alleged against him.’ The signatories included R N Narasimha Murthy, B V Acharya, D N Nanjunda Reddy, Ravi B Naik, Padmanabha Mahale, Jaya Vittal Rao, M P Padmarajaiah, Yoganarasimha, M Sivappa and P Raghavendra Rao.
