Implementation of 73rd Panchayati Raj Act

Monday, November 30, 2009: Union Panchayati Raj Minister Dr. C.P.Joshi today informed the Lok Sabha that all States and Union Territories including North Eastern States to which Part IX of the Constitution applies, have their own Panchayati Raj legislations which have to conform to the Constitutional provisions.

Information about the schemes to be implemented during the Eleventh Plan has been made available in various ways including the websites maintained by the Ministries, written communication through letters, regular review and monitoring mechanisms.
