SC Judge Swatanter Kumar delivers record 75 judgements!

Supreme Court judge Justice Swantanter Kumar on 8th July 2010  set a new record by delivering 75 judgements on a single day! Seventy seven matters were listed for judgement, out of which 75 judgements have been written by Justice Kumar.Justice Kumar has earlier set another record when he delivered more than 80 judgements in one day when he was the Chief Justice of the Bombay High Court.The two remaining judgements, out of 77, were delivered by Justice BS Chauhan.The delivery of 75 judgements in a day may be a world record and it may enter the Guinness Book of World Records.No other Supreme Court judge has delivered so many jdgements in one day till date.Justice Arijit Pasayat, who retired recently, had delivered more than 25 judgements on his last working day as a Supreme Court judge.
