Government sets up task force to review processes, procedures and practices in the national security system

The Government has decided to set up a Task Force to review the existing processes, procedures and practices in the national security system and suggest measures where necessary for strengthening of the national security apparatus and in non-conventional areas having a bearing on the overall security situation. 

The Task Force has been set up under the chairmanship of Shri Naresh Chandra, former Cabinet Secretary. The members of the Task Force are:
