Chief Justice (CJ) of the Madras High Court A K Ganguly was accorded farewell, following his elevation to the Supreme Court as a Judge. An official communication in this regard was received by the registry from the Supreme Court. Tamil Nadu Advocate General G Masilamni gave a farewell address. Justice Ganguly thanked all the Bar Members for the cooperation rendered to him during his tenure here. He assumed charge as the Chief Justice of Madras High Court in June this year. During the short-span, he delivered 3693 judgements. He would assume office in the Apex Court on December 17.
