Three new judges appointed to Supreme Court

Three new judges appointed to Supreme Court In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (2) of article 124 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint (i) Shri Justice Ganpat Singh Singhvi, Chief Justice, Andhra Pradesh High Court, (ii) Shri Justice Aftab Alam, Judge, Jammu & Kashmir High Court, and (III) Shri Justice Jagdish Madhurlal Panchal, Chief Justice, Rajasthan High Court to be, the Judges of the Supreme Court of India, in that order of seniority, with effect from the dates they assume charge of their respective offices.(PIB)
