Documentary evidence of the work in progress of the dams at Mhadei was also submitted to the apex court, Kamat added, while speaking to reporters at Margao on Tuesday. The chief minister further said that the state government has also approached the Centre demanding that a tribunal be formed to redress the Mhadei issue. Replying to a query, the chief minister said that a legislative bill seeking to protect the agricultural land of Goa is being drafted. Kamat said that "the best of lawyers will be employed by Goa" to fight the case.
