The Rajasthan High Court has ordered listing for hearing a petition challenging the legality of Justice N N Mathur Commission set up by the state government for looking into controversial decisions of the previous Raje Government. A division bench comprising Justices Ashok Parihar and G S Saraf yesterday ordered the listing for hearing, of the petition filed by Kanshi Purohit and Krishna Murari Lal Asthana. The government had set up the three member commission to look into controversial decisions taken by the previous Raje government between 2004 and 2008, including land deals and allegations and charges of corruption, favouritism and abuses of power against those holding power positions during that period.
