Kerala High Court CJ, judges make their assests public

Kochi, Sept 30 (PTI) Close on the heels of a landmark decision by the Supreme Court judges to reveal information about their wealth, Kerala Chief Justice and other Judges of High Court here today made their assets public.



The decision to make their assets and liabilties public was taken by the judges after a full court meeting on August 28, two days after a similar decision by judges of the Supreme Court.



The assets of 33 judges, including Chief Justice S R Bannurmath, was today published in the High court website.



Bannurmath has bank savings deposits worth about Rs 13.04 lakh, 20 grams gold ornaments and shares and mutual fund worth Rs 9.74 lakh, but does not own any vehicles.



Justice Kurian Joseph has bank deposits worth Rs 6336, shares, Mutual funds and Lic policies worth Rs 6 lakh and GPF worth Rs 2.33 lakh and 39.
