As many as 112 pending claims of bank debts, pertaining to the Union Bank of India, were settled in a district-level Lok Adalat held through mutual settlement between debtors and bank officers. Three benches of Lok Adalat were constituted by the District Legal Service Authority. The first bench was headed by District and Session Judge B K Dubey, the second bench by Additional District Judge Jitendra Bajolia, while the third bench was presided by ADJ R P Misra. A total of 488 pending recovery matters from debtors of the UBI were placed. The benches succeeded in settling 112 cases through mutual settlement. Awards of over Rs 46.43 lakh were passed to be deposited with the UBI. UNI
