Salary Communication through Social Media will not be done
- The Ministry of Labor & Employment has recently decided to not use social media platforms such as WhatsApp for communications related to salary as information on social media to susceptible to be misused.
- Such communications were to be made under the new Labor Codes which are going to be implemented from the month of April.
- But due to the following concerns, the Ministry took this decision.

CAA will be enforced after Covid-19 Vaccination Ends– Amit Shah
- While addressing a gathering in West Bengal, Union Home Minister and BJP leader Amit Shah announced that the controversial CAA will be enforced as soon as the vaccination for COvid-19 ends.
- During his address, he accused the opposition for misleading the minorities about the Act.
- He also assured the minorities that the Act's implementation will not impact the citizenship of the Indian minorities.

Deep Sidhu Opens Up about Hiding
- After being arrested by the Special Cell, the Punjabi actor-turned-activist Deep Sidhuopened up on the violence that took place on the 26th of January, 202 at the Red Fort.
- He told the police that he had been hiding all this while because his life was a t risk.
- He has also reportedly stated that the incident was well planned.

Madras High Court: Frivolous Litigation will not be Tolerated
- A Bench constituted by Chief Justice Sanjib Banerjee and Justice Senthil Kumar Ramamoorthy recently stated that frivolous petitions would not be tolerated.
- This was held by them while observing that the Courts were filled with dishonest petitions and untruthful defenses in a lot of cases.
- “There are several matters of pressing urgency…which don't get appropriate attention due to fancy claims”, the Bench observed.

Munawar Case: Sadakat Khan's 2nd Bail Plea Rejected
- In the Munawar case, the Indore District Court rejected the 2nd bail plea of Sadakt Khan who was arrested along with Manawar Faruqui.
- Earlier, he had filed a bail plea before the Sessions Court in January which was rejected.
- Sadakat has been charged under Sections 295A, 298, 269, 188 and 34 of IPC.

BCI's Decision to Scrap 1 Yr LLM will Come into Effect from 2022-23
- The Bar Council of India told that its decision of scrapping the one year LLM program and the derecognizing of foreign LLM would come into effect from the academic year 2022-23, to the Supreme Court of India.
- This came as a relief to various prospective LLM students in the country.
- The Bench comprising of Chief Justice S.A. Bobde, Justice A.S. Bopanna and Justice Ramasubramanian were hearing a plea challenging the decision of the BCI when this submission was made.

- The complaint in the present case was initially made because the accused had refused to marry the complainant stating that since the girl belonged to the Scheduled Caste community, his father did not consent to the marriage.
- The accused had initially assured the complainant that caste considerations would not bar him from marrying her and had established physical relations with her.
- The accused had also intoxicated her, violated her and also took her photographs without her permission, according to the initial complaint.

India's Agreenent with China on Disengagement of Troops
- Defence Minister Rajnath Singh entered into an agreement with China regarding the disengagement of troops in Pangong Tso.
- He said that both the sides would withdraw forward deployment in a phased manner.
- The Chinese Troops agreed to remain in the North Bank area of Pangong Lake.
- Indian troops will remain present at their permanent base at Dhan Singh Thapa Post.
- Within 48 hours of the complete disengagement of troops, the next meeting of the military commanders will take place.
- The Defence Minister assured that India has not conceded anything to China during the whole disengagement process.

- A case has been registered against Haryanvi Singer and dancer Sapna Chaudhary by the Economic Offences Wing of the Delhi Police.
- The case has been registered on charges of cheating.
- She has been charged under Sections 420, 120B and 406 IPC.

Trump's Ban is permanent : Twitter CFO
- During an interview on CNBC, Twitter CFO Ned Segal said that Trump's ban from the platform is permanent and that his tweeting privileges could not be restored in any case.
- Twitter had banned Trump due to the risk of incitement of violence in the future.
- “The way our policies work, when you're removed from the platform, you're removed from the platform”, said CFO Ned Segal.
