State Of Affairs Of Medical Facilities In Uttar Pradesh Villages, Small Towns Ram Bharose: Allahabad HC In COVID Case
The Allahabad High Court was critical of the state of affairs in Uttar Pradesh in terms of medical facilities and the state's medical system.
The fact that the body of one of the patients, Santosh Kumar, who had collapsed in the bathroom and died, was disposed of as an unidentified body drew the ire of a bench of Justices Siddhartha Varma and Ajit Kumar.
"If this is the state of care at a medical college in a city like Meerut," the Court observed, "then the entire medical system of the state pertaining to smaller cities and villages can only be compared to a popular Hindi saying "Ram Bharose."
