It is the Government and the entire Opposition Leaders who have been going overboard to somehow bring a weak Lok Pal Bill . When corruption in this country has been nurtured and reaped by the Politicians and Bureacrats, it is natural for them to display all tactics to defeat the Anna and his Team. However, this time, unfortunately the entire civil society is strongly against them.

Someone has to come forward for the betterment of the public and it is he who has taken the lead by backing a law that would bring public accountability on the government and employees. The movement that he started has gained recognisation and has created pressure for faster adoption of the Bill instead of dragging and enacting as a weak Bill.

Is it unfair for common citizens to expect Parliament to have enacted strong and effective law for anti-corruption after waiting for 42 years?

No. He is not going overboard. What happens if PM and all employees included in the lok pal bill. The threat is that these lower cadre employees are the source to high level officers for corruption. If they included automaticcaly corruption will be stopped. This is India, no one is interested to develop the country they are ( poltiicians and govt.,employees) interested in self development. I am not blaming every govt., employee, because I have come across some govt., employees they dont expect money for their work.
