yes for the reason that the judicial system is too weak for the reason that the trial cases go too long which the accused will get benfit in the case moireover cross exmination done by advocate is just to harrash the complainant for the reason that the cross exmination in the court should be to the point for the avoid of harrashament to the witness and the accused will get 99% punishment for the crime | |

It cannot be construed with one or two stray cases occurring in some remote places that the sexual assault cases are increasing in legal profession, it is on the high in mostly other disciplines. | |

Sexual assault and harassment was very common in legal profession since British regime but not disclosed. Now citizen of India are bold enough to disclose it publicly for redress,. that is why it has been appearing as 'increased' | |

It is the easiest way to settle score, blackmail or gain popularity. Legal system allows dragging the cases for indefinite period even at trial stage. The vishakha committee in the institutions should be more powerful and and made mandatory for women employees before approaching the courts. | |

Legal Profession is surrounded by many local citizens working in court, local police and other court staff including presiding officers in court. SO their is much room to do any unwarranted sexual favor from any female lady or girl coming for her problem in courts of India. | |
