I am terribly astonished and discontended with the intervention of judicial system in the personal laws of citizens. The said fact is being wrongfully used by parties and lawyers as well. This is clearly evident from the misuse of Section 498 Cr. P.C. and Section 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961. Even the top judiciary of India is loaded with the majority of writs and petitions relating to the misuse of this sections. But our judiciary also is helpless to curb this social evil penetrated by the then Indian Governments. I wish that the Courts of India should take a self-cognizance of these facts of evidentiary value and should order the law making bodies to pass legislation to prevent this legal abuse.
