A lawyer with a deep sense of sincerity and professional integrity, started practice under the invaluable guidance of Mr. B. K. Das, Senior Advocate – a celebrated lawyer well-known for his expertise on civil and constitutional law, with a distinct aim of reaching a state of excellence in the wide span of Civil, Constitutional and Corporate law. To be very honest, I strongly believe my aim is quite related to my ability. It wouldn’t be inconsistent to articulate here that I possess clear vision for success with aptitude to establish goals, develop strategies and initiate thoughtful research in my functional areas. That apart, I am committed to success and accustomed to maintaining strong client relationships.

I also attend some subordinate courts of Original Jurisdiction. To be precise, my active participation in Lawyer’s Orientation Course on Child Rights organized by Law Research Institution, GHC in collaboration with UNICEF has given me an independent thought for the rights of child and inspired me immensely to stand firm with a view to establish the rights of those who can not claim.

It is also consistent to articulate here that my participation in the Lawyer’s Training Programme on Refugee & Human Rights organized by SLIC in collaboration with UN High Commissioner for Refugees brimmed my Ken of knowledge. Well one more issue to be written down i.e. during the last eight and half years of my practice I fought innumerable cases in the field of Service, Constitutional, Corporate and Criminal law.

PGDHRM (Human Resource Management) from IGNOU in collaboration with Gauhati University, Guwahati in the year 1998.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Practicing law in the Gauhati High Court, the Principal Bench of the High Court of Assam, Nagaland, Meghalaya, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram, and Arunachal Pradesh (The Seven North-Eastern States of India) for last eight and half years. During this period, besides discovering my familiarity to Common Law Doctrine, innumerable facets of law, Acts and issues came up before me, and to be very honest, I enjoyed immensely performing the assigned task though I am convinced that some areas of law especially in the Indian context, are required to be changed to grapple with complex challenges of the present day world!

Well, my direct involvement, in and out of Court of law, are mainly centred to Business Law, Civil Law, Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, Family Law , Labour & Industrial Law, Legal Research, Litigation Support, Document Review, Legal Document Review, Intellectual Property Services – Patent Drafting Services, Contract Management:- draft, revise, and review various contracts such as real estate leases, service agreements, easements, buy-sell agreements, and loan documents, Intellectual Property Rights, Property Law, Taxation, Information Technology Law, Environmental law, Law relating to Human Rights, Mergers And Acquisitions - M&A, issues concerning Mortgage Banking Etc.

It is very relevant to mention here that I usually work in a group of legal expert who are perfectly orchestrated in thought and committed to work having diverse knowledge of law and its development. My experience and expertise, to be honest, has flowered substantially in the different practice and procedures of law in force in common law countries because of my close association with some great lawyers and the various legal tasks I have performed.
