A lawyer with an optimistic and humane outlook of life, Nishtha Malhotra works with MyAdvo as a Lawyers Relationship Manager and as an volunteer in a initiative "TYING BROKEN KNOTS". With the vision of bridging the gaps in the legal system by understanding the lacunas, Nishtha is determined to make Legal simple, accessible and more organized. Being a Lawyer, she understands the concerns that her fraternity and the litigant faces and is insistent in harmonizing the same.
Nishtha works in an initiative called "Tying Broken Knots" that provides private mediation services free of cost. These mediation services are available both in person and through Electronic means.
A spiritualist at core, Nishtha believes in leaving this world a better place to live in. She loves exploring new things and has a perpetual love for books. She firmly believes that life is journey of learning for everything that’s being learnt prepares one for something new and better.
Before joining MyAdvo family, Nishtha had worked in M/S RKVB Associates for a year as an associate and had dealt with matters pertaining to Legal compliances. Nishtha had also practiced as an Associate lawyer in the Chambers of Advocate Raman Mahajan, Punjab and Haryana High court for more than 3 years specializing in women related laws apart from other civil and criminal cases. Her experience at Bar had helped her taste the reality of the Indian Legal system and understand the lacuna’s thereof.
Nishtha is inclined to writing as she believes “pen is mightier than sword”. She has written various articles on CAClub India and LawyerClub India amongst others. She was honored by LawyersClub India for her contribution by featuring her profile. She had conducted an extensive research in the Domestic Violence Law of the Country which she has reduced in a shape of Dissertation. She wants to shape her research work and experiences into a book in near future.
Nishtha is a Business Graduate and had done her three year law from Punjab University, Chandigarh. She is Masters in Law and had done her LL.M. (Criminal Law) from RGNUL, Punjab. She had been bestowed with the Medal of Excellence in Criminal Law for her exceptional performance by Former Chief Justice of India Hon’ble Mr. Justice T.S Thakur and acting Chief Justice of Punjab and Haryana High Court Hon’ble Mr. Justice Shilavax Jal Vazifdar, who were the guests of honor at the felicitation ceremony (Convocation) . Nishtha has been a brilliant student throughout her Academic career and had won many appreciations her way. She had won Scholarship from the Central Excise and Customs Department for her outstanding performance in Board Examination and had topped her college while doing Bachelors in Business Administration from a college of exception repute at Chandigarh, amongst many others.
