86.Application of certain provisions of Act 63 of 1948 to mines. The Central Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, direct that the provisions of Chapters III and IV of the Factories Act, 1948 63 of 1948) shall, subject to such exceptions and restr- ictions as may be specified in the notification, apply to all mines and the precincts thereof.
