Appointment and powers of supervisory officers. 3*[(1) The Central Government may appoint a person to be the Director-General of the Force and may appoint other persons to be Inspectors-General, Deputy Inspector-General, Commandants, Deputy Commandats or Assistant Commandants of the Force.] (2) The 3* [Director-General] and every other supervisory officer so appointed shall have, and may exercise, such powers and authority as is provided by or under this Act.
