Section : Benefit not assignable or attachable.

60. Benefit not assignable or attachable.- (1) The right to receive any payment of any benefit under this Act shall not be transferable or assignable. --------------------------------------------------------------------- 1. The words and letter "Part B State" omitted by the Adaptation of Laws (No. 4) Order, 1957 (w.e.f. 1-11-1956). 4. Ins. by Act 44 of 1966, s. 28 (w.e.f. 17-6-1967). 254A (2) No cash benefit payable under this Act shall be liable to attachment or sale in execution of any decree or order of any Court.
