Section : Certificate to be forwarded to Marriagess Registrar, copid and sent toRegister General.

34.Certificate to be forwarded to Marriagess Registrar, copied andsent to Registar General.-The person solemnizing the marriage shallforthwith separate the certificate from the marriage-register-book andsend it, within one month from the time of the solemnization, to theMarriage Registrar of the district in which the marriage wassolemnized, or, if there be more Marriage Registrars than one, to theSenior Marriage Registrar, who shall cause such certificate to be copied into a book to bekept by him for that purpose, and shall send all the certificates which he has received duringthe month, with such number and signature or initials added thereto asare hereinafter required, to the 1*[Registrar General of Births,Deaths and Marriages].
