Section : Cognizance of offences.

32. Cognizance of offences. (1) No prosecution under this Chapter shall be instituted except by an Inspector. 8*[or by the person aggrieved or by a recognised consumer association whether such person is a member of that association or not] (2) No Court inferior to that of 9*[a Metropolitan Magistrate or of a Judicial Magistrate of the first class] shall try an offence punishable under this Chapter. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 1.
