Constitution of the Council of the Institute.
9. Constitution of the Council of the Institute. (1) There shall be a Council of the Institute for the management of the affairs of the Institute and for discharging the functions assigned to it by or under this Act. (2) The Council shall be composed of-- (a) not more than twelve persons elected by members of the Institute from amongst the fellows of the Institute chosen in such manner and from such regional constituencies as may be specified in this behalf by the Central Government by notification in the Official Gazette; and 39 (b) not more than four persons nominated by the Central Government.
