Section : Control of drains and sewage collection works.

172. Control of drains and sewage collection works. (1) All municipal drains, all sewage collection and all works, materials and things appertaining thereto shall be under the control of the Chairperson. (2) The Chairperson shall maintain and keep in repair all municipal drains and sewage collection works and when authorised by the council, shall construct as many new drains and sewage collection works as may from time to time be necessary for effectual drainage and sewage collection.
