Section : Declaration as to expediency of control by the Union.

2. Declaration as to expediency of control by the Union. It is hereby declared that it is expedient in the public interest that the Union should take under its control the cardamom industry. 2* * * * * 1. Sections 14 and 15 came into force on 1.4.1966: vide Notifn. No. G.S.R. 380, dt. 5.3.1966, Gaz. of India, Pt. II, Sec. 3(i), p. 428. 1. Chapter III shall come into force on 12.7.1966: vide Notifn. No. S.O. 2166, dt. 12.7.66, Gaz. of India, Pt. II, Sec. 3 (ii), p. 2108. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 1. The provisions of this Act, except Chapter III, came into force on the 5th April, 1966, vide Notification No. G.S.R. 543, dated the 5th April, 1966, Gazette of India, Part II, Sec. 3(i), p. 619. 2. Repealed by Act 10 of 1986, s. 42 (w.e.f. 26.2.1987).
