Effect of recognition.
13.Effect of recognition. Notwithstanding anything contained in any other law, but subject to the provisions of this Act,- (a) any recognised dental or dental hygiene qualification shall be a sufficient qualification for enrolment in the appropriate register of any State ; (b) no person shall, after the first registers are compiled under this Act, be entitled to be enrolled in any register as a dentist or dental hygienist unless he holds a recognised dental or dental hygiene qualification or as a dental mechanic unless he has undergone training which satisfies the prescribed requirements referred to in section 12.
