Section : Establishment for removal of sewage, offensive matter and rubbish.

148.Establishment for removal of sewage, offensive matter and rubbish.-The Nagar Panchayat or, as the case may be, the Council shall provide for the removal- (a) of sewage, rubbish and offensive matter from all public latrines, urinals and drains and from all public roads and all other property vested in the municipality, and (b) in any municipality wherein a latrine tax has been imposed under sub-section (1) of section 75 of sewage and offensive matter from all private latrines, privies, urinals, cesspools and compounds.
