Section : Exemption of public ships, foreign and Indian.

455. Exemption of public ships, foreign and Indian. (1) This Act shall not, except where specially provided, apply to ships belonging to any foreign prince or State and employed otherwise than for profit in the public service of the foreign prince or State. (2) The Central Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, direct that the provisions of this Act or any of them shall not apply to ships belonging to the Government or to any class of such ships.
