Section : Filling of vacancies.

14. Filling of vacancies.- (1) Vacancies in the office of 1*[appointed] or elected members of the Corporation, the Standing Committee and the Medical Benefit Council shall be filled by 1*[appointment] or election, as the case may be. (2) A member of the Corporation, the Standing Committee or the Medical Benefit Council 1*[appointed] or elected to fill a casual vacancy shall hold office only so long as the member in whose place he is 1*[appointed] or elected would have been entitled to hold office if the vacancy had not occurred.
